The Leukemia Research Foundation of Delaware was founded by Nick and Denni Ferrara, parents of a leukemia survivor. Denni, after working for years raising funds for blood cancer research, was awarded the Chairman’s Citation Award by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for her years of commitment and service to the society and its Delaware chapter. She has since focused her fundraising efforts specifically on research in her pursuit for a cure.

The Leukemia Research Foundation of Delaware is headquartered in Middletown, Delaware and is a volunteer-driven foundation that hopes to increase awareness and improve treatment while raising much-needed funds.

Our straightforward mission "to commit funds to cancer research while focusing on awareness, prevention, and the treatment of blood cancers” is near and dear to our hearts. As parents of a leukemia survivor, our goal was to establish a foundation that makes research funding a priorty.
